Deposit TRENCH NO. 1, THE MOST EASTERLY OF THE THREE, HAS EXPOSED A LENS OF MANGANESE SILICATES 6 FEET LONG, 4 FEET THICK, AND ABOUT 5 FEET DEEP. IN TRENCH NO. 2 A MANGANIFEROUS BOULDER APPROXIMATELY 3 FEET IN DIAMETER IS EXPOSED IN THE CENTER OF THE CUT. TRENCH NO. 3, THE MOST WESTERLY CUT, CONTAINS TWO BOULDERLIKE MANGANESE BODIES THAT MESURE 2 AND 3 FEET IN DIAMETER.
Deposit THE EXPOSURES ARE INADEQUATE FOR DETERMINING IF THE MANGANESE MINERALIZATION IS CONTINUOUS BETWEEN THE TRENCHES. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
