Deposit MINERALIZATION OCCURS IN TWO MAIN AND SEVERAL SMALLER NORTHWEST TRENDING, STEEPLY DIPPING FRACTURE ZONES IN ANDESITE. THE GOAT VEIN IS A QUARTZ-FILLED SHEAR ZONE, 1-18 FT THICK, THAT CAN BE TRACED FOR AT LEAST 3,000 FT. ORE MINERALS ARE DISSEMINATED WITHIN BRECCIATED ROCK. THE OXIDIZED VEIN IS IN SILICIFIED ANDESITE NEAR ITS CONTACT WITH THE SILVER STAR PLUTON.
