  • ON GENTLER SLOPES EAST AND SE OF CORONADO MASSIF, THE COARSE GRANULAR PRECAMBRIAN GRANITE IS GENERALLY DISINTEGRATED TO COARSE SAND OR LOOSELY COHERENT ROCK. THE MAJORITY OF DEPOSITS IN THIS REGION ARE FISSURE VEINS CONTAINING OXIDIZED COPPER ORES IN THEIR UPPER LEVELS.
