  • DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF A 60 DEG. INCLINED SHAFT SUNK 300 FEET WITH LEVELS AT 50, 100, AND 200 FEET. IN THESE WORKINGS NORTH OF THE SHAFT AS ORE SHOOT 200 FEET LONG BY 6 FEET WIDE WAS DEVELOPED BETWEEN THE 100 FOOT LEVEL AND THE SURFACE. ABOUT 420 FEET SOUTH OF THIS, A 55 DEG. INCLINED SHAFT HAS BEEN SUNK 240 FEET, WITH LEVELS AT 50, 100, 150, 180, AND 240 FEET. LESSEES ARE WORKING IN A RAISE IN THE FOOTWALL ABOVE THE 150 FOOT LEVEL ABOUT 75 FEET FROM THE SHAFT.

  • PROSPECTED BY R.C. DARLING IN 1870. THOMAS WALSH PURCHASED MOST OF THE CLAIMS IN THE CAMP BIRD GROUP IN 1896. SMUGGLER-UNON AND TOMBOY HOLDINGS WAS ORGANIZED AS THE TELLURIDE MINES, INC. IN 1940.

Deposit INCLUDES LIBERTY MINE, TOMBOY GROUP MINES, IDARADO
Deposit 8 CLAIMS. 160 ACRES.
Deposit VEIN 8-10 FT IN THICKNESS WITH HIGH-GRADE MINERALIZATION ON HANGING WALL. ON FOOTWALL, 6-8 FT OF CALCITE VEIN FILLING. SOUTH OF THE 300 FT INCLINE, THE VEIN IS DISPLACED ABOUT 20 FT TO THE WEST BY A N60W FAULT.
