General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit RECENT GRAVEL BARS ON BOTH SIDE OF THE CHANNEL OF YAQUI R. FROM NACIMIENTO DOWNSTREAM FOR SEVERAL KM KNOWN TO CONTAIN GOLD AND SCHEELITE. THE BARS ARE AT LEAST 10 M THICK LOCALLY, AND COULD CONTAIN AS MUCH AS 1,000,000 CM OF GRAVEL + SAND. JOINTS IN GRANITE BEDROCK MAKES SURFACE VERY UNEVEN, AND THERE ARE NUMEROUS LARGE BOULDERS IN GRAVELS THAT WOULD HAMPER ANY DREDGING OPERATIONS. GOLD VALUES CONSISTENT IN THE BARS, BUT SCHEELITE CONTENT DECREASES DOWNSTREAM FROM NACIMIENTO.
