  • VOLCANIC ROCKS OF THE CHOYAL FM. (MASSIVE AND PILLOW STRUCTURED VOLCANICS, BRECCIA AND CHERT) HAVE BEEN HYDROTHERMALLY ALTERED IN THE MINE AREA. PLUTONIC ROCKS IN THE AREA INCLUDE TWO LARGE STOCKS RANGING FROM QUARTZ DIORITE TO GRANODIORITE IN COMPOSITION, AN OLDER(?) HORNBLENDE DIORITE DIKE, AND A LATE STAGE GRANOPHYRE DIKE.
