THICK PALEOZOIC SEQUENCE INTRUDED BY SLIVERS AND BODIES OF GRANITIC INTRUSIVE FORMING FE SKARN AND POLYMETALLIC REPLACEMENTS DEPOSITS. INTRUSIVES APPEAR TO FOLLOW BEDDING CONTACTS AND TEND INTO SILL- LIKE BODIES. THE SIERRA PLACERDE GUADALUPE RANGE SOUTHWEST SIDE HAS AT LEAST 2 MINE AREAS BOTH OCCCUR IN BARRANCA FM. ROCKS.
