| Deposit | CU SKARNS ALONG LIMESTONE/DIORITE CONTACT. NUMEROUS PB-AG-BEARING VEINLETS CUT BOTH ROCKS. SIMILAR DEPOSITS AT CHOLOMO AND RIO TINTO MINES. AT TERRAZAS CRETACIOUS CARBONATES HOST CU-PB-ZN SKARNS: CAPPS, 1981, DESCRIBED THE COPPER DEPOSITS AS SKARN NEAR A FELSIC INTRUSIVE. THE SKARNS MAINLY CONTAIN ANDRADITE, WITH SMALL AMOUNTS OF PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE. |
