| Deposit | ACCESS DIFFICULT! IN 1942, MULE TRAILS FROM BALSAS OR HUAULTA PROVIDED ONLY ACCESS. LA ESTRELLA WAS THE BEST ZONE AS OF 1942, AND PROBABLY LIES ALONG THE MOST EXTENSIVE FAULT. SAN LUIS, AT A HIGHER LEVEL NEAR SAME FAULT, WAS UNPRODUCTIVE. AT MARGARITA ORE ALONG A LANDSLIDE CONTACT BETWEEN SHALE AND CONGLOMERATE CONTAINED STRINGERS OF COARSELY CRYSTALLINE CINNABAR AND PYRITE. ; INFO.SRC : 2 UNPUB REPT |
