  • NO FIGURES HAVE BEEN CALCULATED BECAUSE OF THE HIGHLY LENTICULAR SEAMS OF COAL AND LACK OF DATA ABOUT THE GRAVELS.

  • ECON.COM: THE SURFACE WATER SUPPLIES OF THE AREA ARE LIMITED. NEARLY ALL CREEKS AND STREAMS, EXCEPT BOX ELDER AND THE LITTLE MISSOURI RIVER ARE INTERMITTENT. A FEW SPRINGS ARE FOUND USUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH COAL SEAMS. UNDERGROUND MINING OF COAL WOULD HAVE TO BE EMPLOYED, BUT IN SOME CASES SMALL AREAS COULD FEASIBLY BE STRIPPED.
