Deposit THE HOST BASALT OF THE CRESCENT FORMATION IS SOMEWHAT BLEACHED AT THE ESTHER-IRENE DEPOSIT (DATA FROM USGS, MRDS, 1990). PALEOCENE AND EOCENE PILLOW BASALTS ARE COMPOSITIONALLY SIMILAR TO OCEAN RIDGE BASALTS. ASSOCIATED PELAGIC LIMESTONES WERE DEPOSITED IN DEEP WATER (SNAVELY, 1987, P. 306-308). ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
