The Quartz Lenses Range From A Fraction Of An Inch To A Foot In Thickness (Culver And Broughton, 1945, P. 32-33). The Deposit Contains Stockwork With Quartz-K-Feldspar Flooding And Sericitic Alteration Which Is Part Of The Kelsey Copper-Molybdenum Porphyry Copper System (Roper, 1973).

Comments on the geologic information

  • THE DEPOSIT IS IN ARGILLITE OF THE PERMIAN OR TRIASSIC (?) KOBAU FORMATION AND QUARTZ DIORITE AND FINE-GRAINED DIORITE OF THE CONCENTRICALLY ZONED JURASSIC-CRETACEOUS (?) SILVER NAIL LAKE PLUTON (STOFFEL, 1990, P. 28).
