Deposit GYPSUM LENSES 1-4 FT THICK IN RED BEDS ASSOCIATED WITH KAIBAB AND TOROWEAP FORMATIONS. GYPSUM ALSO IN LIMESTONE BRECCIAS. GYPSUM RANGES FROM FINE GRAINED, HARD AND WHITE, TO COARSE GRAINED SUGARY, SOFT AND MASSIVE. LOCALLY CONTAINS ABUNDANT QUARTZ AND MUD. 80 FT OF GYPSUM AND 125 FT OF IMPURE GYPSUM MEASURED IN HACKS CANYON.
