Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • THERE ARE SOME PECULIAR TRACE/ACCESSORY MINERALS SUCH AS STAUROLITE.
  • GRAVELS COME FROM GRANITIC AND BASIC ROCKS, GRAVELS ARE FINE AND OVERLIE EXTREMELY ALTERED ROCK WITH IRREGULAR LONGITUDINAL PROFILE THAT IS FAVORABLE FOR CONCENTRATION OF MINERALS. BEST FINDS WHERE GRAVELS ARE THICKEST. THE ABUNDANCE OF DIAMONDS IN THE 15-20+ CARAT RANGE INDICATES THE DIAMONDS HAVE NOT UNDERGONE PROLONGED TRANSPORT AND THAT THE PRIMARY SOURCE IS NEARBY.
