Deposit FINGERNAIL SIZED FLAT FLAKES OF GOLD ARE COMMONLY RECOVERED IN SOME DIGGINGS. THEY MAY REPRESENT VEINLETS OF GOLD. SOME GOLD BEARING (NOT VISIBLE GOLD) QUARTZ COBBLES HAVE BEEN FOUND ON THE SURFACE BUT NO QUARTZ VEINS HAVE BEEN SEEN IN PLACE. PROBABLE SMALL, IRREGULAR, VERY RICH STRINGERS. MAY BE A LARGER BODY IN CERRO LA VIRGEN STRIKING NW.
