Deposit VEIN ZONE (1): VEIN ZONE CROPS OUT OVER 1 SQUARE KM AND IS COMPOSED OF CHLORITIZED ANDESITIC BRECCIA AND TUFF CUT BY A QUARTZ VEIN SWARM THAT BIFURCATE, PINCH, SWELL, ORE DISCONTINUOUS ALONG STRIKE, SIGMOIDAL IN PLAN. THEY HAVE SELVAGES OF SERICITE-TOURMALINE NEAR K-SILICATE ZONE AND TO THE EAST QUARTZ ALUNITE. QUARTZ VEINS CONTAIN 3-5 VOL% PYRITE, ENARGITE, LUZONITE, TENNANTITE-TETRAHEDRITE, AG 30-600 PPM, AU LESS THAN 1 PPM. VUGGY SILICA, BARITE AND NATIVE SULFUR. OTHER VEIN ORE MASSIVE SULFIDE WITH PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, GALENA, SPHALERITE, AG 30-200 PPM, AU LESS THAN 1 PPM. GYPSUM, JAROSITE, CHALCANTHITE, SCORODITE, AND WAVELLITE OCCUR AS SURFACE OXIDATION PRODUCTS. CATHEDRAL PEAK SECTOR (2): 500 M THICK TABULAR MASS OF PERVASIVE ADVANCED ARGILLIC ALTERATION (CHALCEDONIC QUARTZ-ALUNITE-KAOLINITE-PYRITE) WITH WNW BARITE-QUARTZ VEINS WITH UP TO 120 PPM AG AND LESS THAN 1 PPM AU, UP TO 10% NATIVE SULFUR ABOVE 5000 M, HIGH AS SOIL CHEMISTRY. CASALE HILL (3): K-SILICATE ALTERATION
Deposit WITH ABOUT 0.6 PPM AU. MAGNETITE, CHALCOPYRITE, BORNITE, MOLYBDENITE, PYRITE.
