Subject category Comment text
Deposit THREE TYPES OF MINERALIZATION WERE EVALUATED FOR BOTH V1 AND V2: GARNIERITE MINERALIZATION, LIMONITE MINERALIZATION, AND MIXED GARNIERITE AND LIMONITE. ALVES AND OTHERS (1986) GIVE THICKNESS, AREAS, VOLUMES, AND CHEMICAL COMPOSITIONS FOR MEASURED, INFERRED, AND INDICATED RESERVES FOR EACH TYPE OF MINERALIZATION IN BOTH BODIES. THICKNESSES RANGE FROM 8.11 TO 12.89 M FOR V1 AND 6.11 TO 12.96 FOR V2. AVERAGE THICKNESS FOR GARNIERITE TYPE IS 10.61 M AND AN AREA OF 1,468,000 SQUARE METERS FOR V1 AND V2; AVERAGE THICKNESS FOR LIMONITE TYPE IS 9.37 M AND AN AREA OF 1,614,000 SQUARE METERS; AVERAGE THICKNESS FOR MIXED GARNIERITE AND LIMONITE IS 9.99 M AND AN AREA OF 3,082,000 SQUARE METERS.
