Deposit SOURCE MINERALIZATION IS BELIEVED TO BE TERTIARY AU-QUARTZ-CALCITE VEINS IN IGNEOUS ROCKS. THE GOLD IN THE VEINS IS THOUGHT TO BE VERY FINE AND EASILY TRANSPORTED DOWNSTREAM.
