General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THERE ARE ANHEDRAL PYRITE CRYSTALS DISSEMINATED THROUGH THE MILKY QUARTZ VEIN. MINERALIZATION IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE LA BIDEGA STREAM. THE OUTCROPS HAVE BEEN INTENSELY WEATHERED.
Deposit BUENAVENTURA (1975) REPORTS THAT THE SITE HAS LITTLE ECONOMIC VALUE, BUT THE PRESENCE OF MOLYBDENITE, COPPER, AND LEAD IS A FAVORABLE FACTOR TO KEEP IN MIND FOR A MORE DETAILED EXPLORATION OF THE AREA.
