General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE DEPOSIT IS IN AN ALLUVIAL CONGLOMERATE WITH IGNEOUS ROCK AND QUARTZ CLASTS IN A MATRIX OF CLAYEY SAND. SMALL GOLD FLAKES AND ABUNDANT OTHER HEAVY MINERALS CAN BE FOUND IN THIS SAND.
Deposit BUENAVENTURA (1975) REPORTS THAT THE DEPOSIT IS OF LITTLE ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE DUE TO THE LOW GOLD CONTENT AND THE IRREGULARITY OF THE DEPOSIT.
