Deposit DEPOSIT IS IN CONGLOMERATE WHICH CONSISTS OF CLASTS OF GRANODIORITE, QUARTZ DIORITE, CHERT, AND LYDITE WITHIN A CLAYEY SAND MATRIX. THERE ARE ABUNDANT HEAVY MINERALS IN THE CLAY MATRIX.
Deposit BUENAVENTURA (1975) REPORTS THAT THE DEPOSIT IS OF LITTLE ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE DUE TO THE OBSERVED LOW GOLD CONTENT.
