Deposit THE WORKFRONT HAD OBVIOUS MINERALIZATION. THE LOOSE SANDY MATERIAL IS ABOUT HALF GOETHITE AND HALF LIMONITE WITH QUARTZ VEINLETS. THE MINERALIZATION IS ALONG N-S STRUCTURES THAT DIP 70 DEGREES E AND IS ABOUT 100 M UP FROM THE BASE OF THE RORAIMA FM SECTION. STEVE OLMER (USGS, 1989) BELIEVES THE MINERALIZATION LOOKS LIKE UNCONFORMITY-RELATED AU-U. JEFF WYNN BELIEVES MINERALIZATION LOOKS HYDROTHERMAL IN ORIGIN.
