  • IN EARLY 1900'S, WORKINGS CONSISTED OF A SERIES OF LONG NARROW CUTS, THE LARGEST 100' LONG, 20'WIDE, WITH A 10+' HIGHWALL. ADDITIONAL MINING IN THE 1940'S ENLARGED MINE TO PRESENT SIZE. AREA WAS RECLAIMED BY FOREST SERVICE IN THE 1970'S.
