  • 1917 WORKINGS CONSISTED OF PITS AND TRENCHES COVERING A FEW ACRES. REOPENED IN 1942 BY EO SAYERS. IT WAS HOPED PRODUCTION FROM THIS LOCALITY WOULD SUPPLIMENT THAT OF THE UMBARGER MINE. 1942 WORK DONE WITH BULLDOZERS. DAMS LOCATED NEAR MINE INDICATE SOME ORE WAS OBTAINED AND PROCESSED AT THE MINE SITE, BUT PROBABLY ONLY A RELATIVELY SMALL AMT.

  • THE MAIN EXPOSURE IN 1942: 250 FT. LONG, IS 15 FT. WIDE, 12 FT. DEEP. AREA IN 1988 CONSISTS OF NATURALLY RECLAIMED AREA WITH SEVERAL SLUMPED CUTS, AND SPOIL PILES.
