  • PRE-1940: LARGEST OPENING = 100 FT. WIDE, 50 FT. INTO HILL, WITH A 30 FT. HIGHWALL. SEVERAL PROSPECT PITS WITHIN IMMEDIATE AREA. ORE WAS WASHED AT SITE 2000' SE OF MINE ALONG NORTH SIDE OF KILLINGER CREEK AND SOUTH OF OLD CCC ROAD. POST 1940 = DEPOSIT WAS WORKED WITH DOZERS AND PANS AND TRUCKED TO WASHER LOCATED 5000' EAST OF MINE, ALONG NORTH SIDE OF KILLINGER CREEK AND OLD CCC ROAD. MINE SITE RECLAIMED IN THE 1970'S BY US FOREST SERVICE.

  • EARLY DEVELOPMENT (EARY 1900'S) INDICATES THIS TO BE A PROSPECT, BUT GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIZED MINING BY C.J. LANGLEY OF NEW YORK AND WILSON WEDLIGHT OF TEXAS AND OTHERS DURING THE 1940'S & 1950'S MAKES THIS AN ABND PRODUCING MINE.
