  • IN 1974, CAVED PIT AND SMALL DUMP EVIDENT. IN 1877 FOUR SHAFTS WITH CONNECTING LEVELS HAD BEEN SUNK AND ORE TO THE AMOUNT OF 500 TONS AVERAGING $13 TO $15 PER TON IN VALUE WAS ON THE DUMP.
