NORTH HALF CRAMER UNDERGROUND WORKINGS, 310 FEET LONG N-S, 130 FEET WIDE E-W, AND ABOUT 240 FEET DEEP. F.E. STRICKLAND OWNS SOUTHERN HALF, LEASED AND MINED BY EUREKA MICA MINING AND MILLING COMPANY. MINED FROM 1907 CONTINUOUSLY TO 1937;REOPENED 1942 FOR WORLD WAR II . CRAMER UNDERGROUND MINE OWNED BY CHARLES W. CRAMER, LEASED AND MINED BY CONNETICUT MICA AND MINING COMPANY FROM 1934 TILL PRESENT (1944). DIKE IS SHEET 12 TO 22 FEET THICK; STRIKE N-S, DIP 35 TO 40 DEG. W. FELDSPAR MINED AT STRICKLAND QUARRY; SINCE 1930 BOTH FELDSPAR AND MICA PRODUCED. ONLY MICA MINED FROM CRAMER MINE, MICA BED 2 TO 9 FEET THICK, ALSO FROM STRICKLAND MINE OCCASIONAL BYPRODUCT RECOVERY OF A FEW TONS OF BERYL AMBLYGONITE, AND SPODUMENE. STUGARD'S MAP LOCATES CRAMER SHAFT BY SYMBOL AND STRICKLAND QUARRY BY SYMBOL, AND TWO ADDITIONAL QUARRIES, ONE 200 FEET NE ON ADJACENT PEGMATITE, AND ONE
300 FEETWEST ON STILL ANOTHER PEGMATITE DIKE.
