  • MAJOR DUMP AREA 600BY 400 FEET SHOWN ON TOPO SHEET AND NOT SHOWN ON EITHER STUGARD'S OR CAMERON'S MINE MAPS. LARGE SWARMS OF LARGE PEGMATITES WITH A TOTAL OF 8 QUARRIES AND 4 PROSPECT PITS. PEGMATITES AS MUCH AS 3000 FEET LONG N-S, AND 600 FEET WIDE E-W. MOST DIKES TREND NORTHWEST AND DIP WEST AT MODERATE TO GENTLE ANGLES. MOST QUARRIES WORKED PREVIOUS TO 1943 BY CONSOLIDATED FELDSPAR CO. QUARRY AND PROSPECT LOCATIONS FROM MAIN LARGE TOPOGRAPICALLY SHOWN MINE ARE QUARRIES 500 FEET NORTHWEST, 2100 FEET NORTHWEST (WESTERN QUARRY, CONSOLIDATED MINE) 1200 FEET WEST NORTHWEST, 2000 FEET WEST NORTHWEST, 800 FEET WEST SOUTHWEST (WHITE ROCK QUARRY), 1900 FEET WEST SOUTHWEST, AND 4400 FEET SOUTHEAST, AND PROSPECTS ARE 2000 FEET WEST, 1900 FEET WEST, 900 FEET SOUTHWEST, AND 1600 FEET EAST NORTHEAST (RIVERSIDE PROSPECT). MINED ONLY FOR FELDSPAR.
