  • MINE INITIALLY DEVELOPED AS PLACER DEPOSIT AND AFTERWARDS AS VEIN DEPOSIT PRIOR TO CIVIL WAR. SHAFT SUNK BEFORE CIVIL WAR REPORTED CAVED IN 1865. ADDITIONAL WORK AFTER CIVIL WAR ABANDONED IN 1894.
