GRANITE OF MEDIUM BUFF GRAY COLOR, OF EVEN GRAINED GRANITIC FINE TEXTURE. GRANITE DIKE, ABOUT 1.45 MILES LONG, TRENDS EAST TO WEST. DIKE COMPOSED OF TWO SHEETS EACH ABOUT 40 FEET THICK, INTERCONNECTED, WITH STRIKE N. 80 DEG. EAST, DIP 30 TO 40 DEG SOUTH 10 DEG. EAST. MANY USES FOR STONE.
