  • TOPO SHOWS MAJOR NEAR CIRCULAR WATER-FILLED QUARRY ABOUT 300 FEET IN DIAMETER, ABOUT 60 FEET DEEP. TOPO ALSO SHOWS DEPRESSION 200 FEET TO WEST, THAT IS 400 FEET LONG N-S, AND 50 WIDE E-W. STUGARD'S MAP ALSO LOCATES THREE ADDITIONAL QUARRIES NOT SHOWN ON TOPO. THESE ARE LOCATED 900 FEET NNW., 1200 FEET NW, AND 1400 FEET WSW. A PROSPECT PIT IS LOCATED 300 FEET SW. GNEISS FOLIATION STRIKE IS NORTHWEST, AND DIP 28 DEG. NE.
