GNEISS FOLIATION STRIKES N. 80 TO 85 DEG. EAST, DIPS 20 TO 25 DEG.NORTH 5 TO 10 DEG.WEST. SHEETS ONE TO 3 FEET THICK ALONG FOLIATION. GRANITE MEDIUM TO DARK REDDISH GRAY COLOR, STREAKED WITH BLACK, WITH FINE GNEISSOSE TEXTURE. SOME PEGMATITE DIKES, ONE INCH TO TWO FEET THICK. ADDITIONAL QUARRY 1400 FEET TO NORTHWEST.
