Deposit THICKNESS IS AN AVERAGE. WIDTH VARIES FROM 90-280 FT.
Deposit SEVEN EXPOSURES OF TITANIFEROUS SANDSTONE OCCUR HERE. THREE SAMPLES AVERAGE 12.6% TIO2, 1.8% ZRO2, 33.4% FE, AND 0.10% EQUIVALENT THO2. PROBABLY ADDITIONAL LARGE TONNAGES OF TITANIFEROUS SANDSTONE WOULD BE FOUND BY DRILLING ON THE MESA ALONG THE TREND OF THE DEPOSITS. THE POTENTIAL RESOURCES OF TITANIFEROUS SANDSTONE IN 16 UTAH DEPOSITS, INCLUDING THE EMERY, ARE ESTIMATED AT 1,043,000 ST WITH WEIGHTED AVERAGE GRADE PERCENTS OF 17.98 TIO2, 5.67 ZRO2, 20.98 FE, AND 0.01 EQUIVALENT THO2.
