Deposit IMPURITIES IN BAUXITE REFLECT THE TYPE ROCK ON WHICH IT IS FORMED. E.G. EUDIALYTE ROCKS PRODUCE IRON-RICH BAUXITE, AND SPHENE BEARING ROCKS PRODUCE TITANIUM-RICH BAUXITE. GOOD QUALITY BAUXITE USUALLY FORMS FROM NEPHELINE-SYENITE WITH CANCRINITE
