RHYOLITE HAS QUARTZ AND K-FELDSPAR GROUNDMASS WITH PHENOCRYSTS OF QUARTZ, SANIDINE, BIOTITE AND PLAGIOCLASE. SMALL AMOUNTS OF PYRITE AND ZIRCON OCCUR AS ACCESSORIES AND HEMATITE AND SERICITE AS ALTERATION PRODUCTS.
