Comments on the production information

  • REED (1951) GIVES ESTIMATED PRODUCTION OF CUSTER IRON AGE, AND HYANTHA MINE MAP INDICATES 200,000 ST ORE AND WASTE MINED GROUPS AT BETWEEN $700,000 AND $1,500,000 MOSTLY BETWEEN 1879 AND 1901. EARL (1964) BELIEVES THAT MOST OF THE PRODUCTION CAME FROM THE CUSTER. FOR ESTIMATED PRODUCTION IT IS ASSUMED THAT PRODUCTION OF THE CUSTER WAS $300,000. THESE GROUPS PRODUCED 54,229 ST ORE BETWEEN 1901 AND 1948 AT A GRADE OF 0.23 TOZ/ST AU, 0.8 TOZ/ST AG, 0.6% PB.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • COMPLETE STOPING TO 500 LEVEL GIVES 250,000 ST LESS ABOUT 150,000 ST MINERALIZED GROUND ALREADY MINED LEAVES 100,000 ST MINERALIZED GROUND (2 FT WIDE VEIN). GRADE IS SLIGHTLY LESS THAN GRADE OF ORE RECLAIMED FROM WASTE DUMPS AND NEARBY PROSPECTS AND AVERAGE GRADE OF PRODUCTION 1901-1948
