  • GEOL.DESC: THE JUMPER MINE WORKED ALONG A DIKE, INTRUDED BETWEEN AMPHIBOLITE SCHIST WALLS WHERE SMALL VEINS AND QUARTZ STRINGERS CUT THE 5 TO 50 FT. THICK SCHISTOSE ZONE. THIS MINE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MINES ON THE MOTHER LODE, AT THIS LOCALITY, IN THAT NO CONTINUOUS ORE SHOOTS OCCUR. THE FOOTWALL OF THE VEIN IS A HARD ALTERED DIORITE AND SERPENTINE WITH A DIORITE AND DIABASE HANGING WALL.
