INITIALLY HIGH-GRADE ORE EXTRACTED FROM NARROW QUARTZ VEINS IN SERPENTINE; LATER ORE FROM QUARTZ STRINGERS IN MINERALIZED SCHIST WHICH WAS LOW-GRADE.

Deposit NARROW VEINS, QUARTZ STRINGERS
Deposit THIS GROUP OF CLAIMS INCLUDES MC CANN, MOONEY, PACIFIC, VULTURE, TRIO, AND SOBRANTE. THESE EXTEND FOR A TOTAL DISTANCE OF NEARLY 1 MILE. DEVELOPMENT BEGAN IN 1850 AND WAS WORKED INTERMITTANTLY UNTIL THE 1940 'S. SEVERAL ORE SHOOTS UP TO 200 FT IN LENGTH HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED OVER THE YEARS.
