Economic information

Ore body information

  • General form PARABOLIC DUNES, HIGH DUNE SYSTEM

Comments on the geologic information

  • THE OCCURRENSE OF HEAVY MINERAL IN THE PARABOLIC DUNE SYSTEMS IS BELIEVED TO BE RELATED TO THE BREACHING OF OLD BEACH RIDGES AND DUNES. BREACHING OF THESE FORMATIONS BY STRONG SOUTHEAST WINDS DISTRIBUTED THEIR RELATIVELY HIGH HEAVY MINERAL CONCENTRATION OVER LARGE AREAS OF THE DVELOPING HIGH DUNE SYSTEM, FORMING THE PRESENT DEPOSITS.
