Deposit THE MAIN SOURCE OF SUPPLY FOR THE TITANIUM CONCENTRATES WILL BE THE TIN TAILINGS FROM STRAITS SMELTER WHICH CONTAIN ECONOMIC ILMENITE VALUES. THE PLANT IS DUE TO BEGIN OPERATIONS EARLY IN 1976 WITH AN AVISAGE CAPACITY OF OVER 100,000 TPY ILMENITE. A WOODDALL-DUCKHAM TWIN STREAM SPRAY ROASTER PROCESS WILL BE USED.
