  • LIMESTONE RECRYSTALLIZED TO MARBLE NEAR DACITE; LIMESTONES CUT BY NE AND NW TRENDING TRAVERSE FAULTS THAT CUT LIMESTONE AND DACITE OFFSETTING CONTACTS BY 5-15 M. ALL FAULTS AND VEINS ARE EAST OF ATACOCHA FAULT. ORE WAS DEPOSITED IN NE STRIKING FRACTURES EXCEPT FOR SAN CARLOS VEIN.

TOWARDS THE END OF THE YEAR, HOWEVER, CONTINUED DETERIORATION OF THE INVESTMENT CLIMATE FOR THE MINING SECTOR FORCED THE COMPANY TO PARALYZE SEVERAL PROJECTS AND TO SLOW DOWN THE PACE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF LONGER TERM STRATEGIES.
