  • IN EARLY 1978, THE SITE WAS REPORTED AS A WATER-FILLED SHAFT 5.5 M BY 4M, A SHALLOW PIT 2M IN DIAMETER AND 0.6M DEEP, A LARGE HIGH DUMP OF DENSE DARK GREENSTONE WITH MALACHITE STAIN ALONG WITH QUARTZ AND SERPENTINE. ORIGINALLY SHAFT WAS AT LEAST 21 M (70 FT) DEEP.

Deposit ORE MINERALIZATION PRESENT IN EPIDOTIZED CATOCTIN GREENSTONE WHICH IS PARTLY STAINED BY IRON OXIDE ALONG FRACTURES. ONE PROMINENT JOINT HAS A STRIKE N. 32 DEG. W. AND A VERTICLE DIP.
