  • IN ADDITION TO ORIGINAL 4.6 M SHAFT AND 22 M ADIT, 4 CHURN-DRILL HOLES SUNK IN 1936, IN 1943 USBM DEWATERED SHAFT AND HAD 2 DIAMOND DRILL HOLES SUNK TOTALING 97.5 M. IN 1972, THERE WERE SEVERAL SMALL PITS AND TRENCHES IN THE HILLSIDE EAST AND WEST OF THE ROAD. SOME WATER WAS SEEPING FROM ONE OF THE OLD DRILL HOLES JUST OFF THE WEST SIDE OF STATE ROAD 657. NO MINERALIZATION WAS OBSERVED.

Deposit SULFIDES APPEAR IN BUNCHES UP TO SEVERAL CUBIC FEET IN VOL. IN A ZONE 4-5 FT WIDE. DRILLING INDICATED THAT THE POCKETS OF SULFIDES ARE SPARSELY SCATTERED WITH LITTLE OR NO CONTINUITY.
