  • TWO OR THREE SHALLOW PROSPECT PITS WERE HAND DUG. PITS ARE APPROXIMATELY 1.5 M X 0.9 M (5 FT X 3 FT). IN 1986, NO PITS WERE VISIBLE AND THE SIDE OF THE HILL IS COVER WITH BRIERS.

  • IN 1936 TWO OR THREE SHALLOW PITS WERE HAND DUG. NO COMMERCIAL SIZE DEPOSIT WAS FOUND, BUT SOME BARITE WAS FOUND IN THE CLAY RESIDUUM.
