| Deposit | BARITE CONTAINING PYRITE OCCURS IN CLAY RESIDUUM DERIVED FROM MARBLE OF THE MOUNT ATHOS FORMATION. BEDROCK WAS NOT REPORTED IN THE WORKINGS, BUT ABOUT 15 M (50 FT) EAST OF THE PRINCIPAL SHAFTS THE FOOTWALL IS A FINE-GRAINED MICA SCHIST STRIKING N 30 E AND DIPPING 70 NW. |
