Deposit BARITE OCCURS IN CLAY RESIDUAL. NO BEDROCK WAS FOUND IN THE OPEN CUT, BUT TO THE NORTH, MICA SCHISTS OCCUR STRIKING N 30 E AND STEEPLY DIPPING TO THE NORTHWEST. DEPOSIT IS EAST OF MAIN BARITE BELT.
