Deposit ORGANIZED IN 1905, FORMERLY THE BELT PROPERTY. FIRST PRODUCTION WAS IN 1909, IDLE DURING 1911 AND 1914 AND WORK WAS FINALLY SUSPENDED IN 1919. THE EVERGREEN AND KNOWLTON LODES WERE OPENED AT THIS MINE. DEVELOPMENT WORK WAS DONE ON THE BUTLER LODE, BUT NO RECORD EXISTS OF THE RESULTS.
