Deposit THE MASS MINING CO. ORGANIZED IN 1856. THIS MINE FIRST WORKED ON THE EVERGREEN LODE FROM 1857-1859, RESUMED IN 1864 AND PRODUCED EVERY YEAR THROUGH 1919. PROPERTY WAS LEASED TO MASS TRIBUTE CO. FROM 1884-1888. THE MASS CONSOLIDATED MINING CO. WAS ORGANIZED IN 1899, AND HELD CONTROLLING INTEREST UNTIL PRODUCTION CEASED IN 1919.
