Deposit ALGOMAH MINING CO. ORGANIZED IN 1910. FROM 1852-1854 A COMPANY BY THE SAME NAME WORKED THE AREA WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS. THE ONLY PRODUCTION CAME FROM THE ALGOMAH LODE AS A TEST SHIPMENT IN 1914, NO ROCK WAS MILLED. PART OF THIS SHIPMENT WAS FROM HAND-PICKED ORE. THERE WAS VERY LITTLE NATIVE METAL, MOSTLY COPPER COMPOUNDS.
