SECOND PROSPECT IS LOCATED ON THE CREST OF A WESTWARD TRENDING RIDGE 0.7 KM (0.4 MI) SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED PROSPECT AT UTM COORDINATES N 4308115, E 741945, ELEV. 343 M, AND 0.34 KM (0.2 MI) EAST OF STATE ROAD 649, 2.4 KM (1.5 MI) BY ROAD SOUTH OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH U.S. ROUTE 340.

  • NORTH PROSPECT CONSISTED OF OPEN CUT MINING WHERE THE ROCK WAS BLASTED OUT OF THE WALLS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RAVINE. SOUTH PROSPECT CONSISTS OF 3 PITS, THE LARGEST IS ABOUT 4.6 M (15 FT) IN DIAMETER AND 1.0 M (3 FT) DEEP. SOME MALACHITE AND CHALCOPYRITE WERE SEEN AT THE NORTH PROSPECT. THE SOUTH PROSPECT CONTAINED ABUNDANT MALACHITE AND AZURITE.
